Orion Tackle Top Prop Trolling Lure - The lure comes with three silver corkies which provide buoyancy when using it as a plunking lure. This lure is rigged with two Gamakatsu 3/0 Big River hooks. The top hook is tied with an egg loop knot for holding an egg cluster. The bottom hook trails free. To rig it for trolling, remove the two corkies and tie a prawn to the lure as described below. Trolling speed should be 1.4-1.8 mph. Orion Tackle use deep cup Colorado Blades exclusively, as they easily spin in very little current. All wire lures include a 100# crane swivel. Orion Tackle use Gamakatsu Big River hooks exclusively. Big River hooks are forged, making them very strong. Most importantly, they are scary sharp.
